24-year old Tony Elfers built a reputation for excellence in his hometown of Cincinnati, featured in the Cammy's (Cincinnati's Grammy's) while still in high school, as well as a two- time winner of the Mars Music/ Burbank's Blues Challenge, before going on to form his first band DejaBlue and achieving local prominence before graduation. Tony made his first step toward Chicago in 2002 when he enrolled at Indiana University School of Music, soon earning a B.A. in Audio Recording with a focus on Composition and forming campus house band Mr. Get It On Jones. It was here that he first applied his talents to jingles and was soon thrilled to find his music on radio stations throughout Indiana.

In 2006 Tony moved to Chicago to pursue commercial work and study under Greg Allan and Mat Morse where he is a rising star in the Spank roster as well as the voice of the next generation. His music is now heard on many national television spots.  He currently plays with Josh and the Empty Pockets.
