Composer and recording artist Matt Walker is one of the most in-demand session drummers in Chicago. He has also recorded and toured extensively with a host of high profile artists including Smashing Pumpkins, Garbage,Filter,Veruca Salt and is currently a member Morrissey's band.  ( Link to Morrissey 2008 Tour Dates )

Walker is slated to record for Morrissey in 07 with Gustavo Santaolalla (composer of Brokeback Mountain, Babel ) producing.

Matt has written and played on hundreds of commercials for SPANK!

Walker has also put out records with his own projects. Impossible Recoding Machine have released 2 cds and have been featured on several television shows such as MTV Road Rules and Roswell as well as feature films such as Blade.

His new project is called The Most Dangerous Race. The MDR have just released their first ep and have just begun to perform live.
